I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I will have to say, first and foremost, that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I am not a quick reader, usually, however I finished this book in about 4 days (which, for me, is fast). There were times I really didn't want to put it down however food, sleep and bathroom called from time to time!

I will not go in to the details of the story as I don't like to give spoilers, however I will say that it is very obvious that the author did remarkably well in regards to researching the subject of the book. She explains, in the epilogue, exactly how much research she had done prior to writing the story, and where some of the inspiration for people and places came from - and it shows! She also did an excellent job on writing a story that goes along at a steady pace, explains things without getting too technical or "wordy", and still keeps you entertained and hooked and wanting to continue along with the main character as she journeys through the ins and outs of the challenges that await her.

While it may not seem it at moments, this book is truly a "feel good" story, with the lesson that we should all be appreciative of what we have, not dwell on that which we don't, and to find the blessings in each day.

I would truly recommend this to everyone, ages mid-teens and up.

And finally, I would like to thank the publisher and the author for the opportunity in reading this story - it was truly a pleasure, and a fantastic read!!
