Talk about conflicting emotions! I was angry with the narrator for being so wimpy - how could she think that Chip was so perfect, but let him bully her and be so unsympathetic to her fears? But, conversely, the description of the ill fated flight was breathtakingly exciting and well written - even if rather predictable. I can't wait to read the entire book despite my reservations. How does it all play out?
