What a way to draw your reader in! I felt like I was right there experiencing every gust of wind right along with them. The drama, the anticipation, the knot in my stomach, I already feel emotionally invested and completely affected. Katherine Center clearly has a knack for description and character development. I'm already dying to hear more of the backstory of Margaret's family and of course to hear how this fateful day impacts their lives. Being a young woman myself in a similar situation and phase as Margaret, this short introduction spoke to me and felt completely relatable. This book is sure to be a page turner and seems to be an emotional rollercoaster that I cannot wait to hop on to!
