What a great beginning! I'm definitely hooked and cannot wait to continue reading How to Walk Away. My curiosity is peaked by several things... do both Margaret and Chip survive the crash? How are their lives changed by the crash? What is the story behind Margaret's sister, Kitty? Is the quote, "Dying is easy. It's not dying that's hard" foreshadowing of what Margaret has to look forward to? In fact, is the title of the book both literally and figuratively How to Walk Away from a tragedy, such as this one? Katherine Center has hooked the reader and engaged to the extent that the reader *feels* the fear of flying, excitement about engagement, uncertainty about his "compliment" about Margaret being brave, and terror about the impending crash. The way Margaret approaches the job interview and the surprise flying trip definitely earns my vote of bravery! Now, what is ahead for her after the crash? I can't wait to see.
