This book is very well written so far but I'm just not connecting with the characters. It's definitely agonizing knowing something awful is going to happen and then sitting there waiting for it. I do find it a bit unrealistic to be in a relationship with someone that has a hobby in something that you're terrified of or would pressure their SO to do something they're afraid of doing or something that makes them that uncomfortable.
