What an exhilarating way to start a story! I enjoyed the narrator's way of preparing the reader with her fear of flying and her adoration of her life to this point. I was expecting something to happen at the end of this First Look, and appreciated that although it was a told-you-so moment, it was well done and left me wanting to knwo what happens next.
