Right away this book reminds me of the TV show, "Charmed." It isn't the same of course because in "Charmed," the 3 girls are sisters and they aren't going to a school. I think the story line is, unfortunately, very relatable for so many people. Making it about magic, school and witches, is a genius way to provide entertainment whilst imparting an important lesson. At first I thought it would be a nice young adult novel about witches at school, like Harry Potter, but now I realize there is definitely a rising action and conflict. I have not read to the end, so I do not know what happens to the characters or what choices they make, who gets in trouble, or if they even get into trouble. So many girls and women have to deal with what the main character had to deal with. It makes you wonder who and how many girls and women in other schools had to deal with the same issues in their lives?
