I have a hard time giving a star rating to a book that I didn't finish, because I can't judge it on its entire premise, etc. So although it could potentially be a one as something. I did not even like at all enough to continue reading, I gave it a two. For slight potential? I personally found it to be a slow, uninteresting read and it made it very hard to keep going. For reviewing sake, I tried, but also...life is short and there are too many books to read ones that don't really bring joy! So having said that, I know I can't judge it based on its full version and however it may have ended (maybe it's a promising ending?), but all the same, it did not cause me to feel excited about it. I was less interested in the story and characters overall, which was a disappointment for sure. I was definitely looking forward to this one and I actually tried to read it on multiple occasions.
