If there’s usually one that that’ll instantly peak my interest without major looking into a book, it’s magic. I’m a sucker for new magic systems, currently also throw in academy (mostly for the age range 18+) and I’m sold. This has a smidge and dash of both, mostly has a much younger audience feel to it so I’d say so far a more juvenile feeling for the characters. Which isn’t terrible maybe over time they’ll mature and grow, but it’s probably not gonna tick off any steamy reads needs I’ve been peeking lately.
