I'm in love with this book! It is everything I want in an urban contemporary magic book. The way magic is described makes it so seamless and easily incorporated in everyday life. I'm loving the high school feel and the tension of applying to for a scholarship all intermingled with race, magic abilities, classism, lgbt at the front and center too... and only in the first few chapters.
