A sapphic rivals-to-lovers romance set in a magical high school. Add to that high academic and parental pressure to succeed, a romance between two overachieving witches, and a musical. I’m loving it already and like the main characters so far. It also looks like the book does a surprisingly complex and well-done portrayal of the a predatory, manipulative teacher that abuses his power and exploits students’ hopes and dreams. The author definitely nailed the creepy/icky vibes. I hope to see him get what he deserves, hopefully before he does too much damage.
