Diving into this book right off the bat, I noticed a Different narration style from a POC, LGBTQ+ character and seeing small details noted such as the Mom wearing a Bonet hinting at an inside understanding. This book also gives us a taste of real world issues from such a new point of view not often taken into account in a way that the reader would understand in a simple way. This book so far is Great and I love it. I can tell that many will love it as much as I do and even empower those it relates to closely giving those a stronger sense of Representation and inclusivity. My excitement to see this author grow and flourish in the literary community is immense. To this author I wish you luck! :)
