Ok, so I should probably preface this by saying that I don't usually read Academy books. This one seems like classic Academy with rival witches competing for a scholarship. While I appreciate the diversity in this genre from How to Succeed in Witchcraft, I found the First Look rather silly with its made up names for things thrown out like we should just accept them as reality. While I think certain people might enjoy this, I don't think this is for me.
