I loved this first look. I knew by the end of the first page that I was going to love it. Its such a cute middle grade level book about a young girl training to be a magical healer for people, but wants to use her magic to heal animals instead, which simply isn't done in her culture. She tries to sneak a baby gryphon into class, but soon becomes the center of unwanted attention when the gryphon gets a little too excited. I can't wait to see where this story goes. Perfect for my 10 year old son!
