I'm so excited for this book! The author introduces Giada and one of her character conflicts within the first few lines, and and her snappy voice is easy to sink into. We get a beautiful glimpse of the family dynamic as well, and can see where Giada will be expected to grow in terms of how she sees herself compared to her brother, Rocco. This is going to be a wonderful story of what it means to find the value in yourself and how your family and friends support you.
