I do like a good middle grade book, and I was drawn to the cover and the setting along the Amalfi Coast is fun. The sample was lively and I liked the writing, but I'm a little bit on the fence. There are just so many kidlit (both MG and YA) "magic" books, and I'm not sure if this stands out as anything special yet. But I'd definitely read more if given the opportunity.
