This sounds interesting

I have to say when one of the first words within the summary with middle grader I thought that perhaps this wasn’t age-appropriate for me and I was completely wrong. I think a book that handles a topic like this is incredibly important because even in this day, people who are in interracial marriages are still looked down upon by some people and having that perspective from a child’s eyes and in a family so much against it, I think it would be an incredibly interesting read.
