Real 60s vibe

I thought the cover was interesting. It really depicted what I would think children in the 60's would do. I really felt like the writing and how the characters communicated with one another made it really feel like the 1960's. I like how much she looks up to and appreciates her older sister. I do like the way it is written but I do believe that I am not the target audience for this book.
