Not for me

There are two main turnoffs for me about this: the second person writing, and the period. I struggle with books written in second person ("you") and am grateful they're uncommon. Being told what I think and do irritates me the whole way through the book. It's like a constant side-eye. I'm also not very interested in books with a focus around war-time. Even the bickering about The Doors versus The Beatles made me gag a little. And the word "groovy?" 😐This one's not for me.
