From what I've read there seems to be a good premise and a lot of potential for an enjoyable read, but I'm not a fan of the second person narration. Ariel's voice comes off as very young and this may have been something I liked when I was younger too. Because I've moved on from middle-grade writing to mostly young/new-adult, the tone of the book just isn't for me.
