I didn't know that this was a middle grade book going into it but what I read I liked! I am a big reader of historical fiction and romance and change, so this was right up my alley. I really like Ariel already and I can't wait to read more about her. The only piece of criticism I have is that the cover doesn't seem historical fiction, but it would definitely appeal to younger readers.
