Interesting Teen Perspective on History
First off - this is a MIDDLE GRADE/TEEN book. It likely won't appeal to anyone over the age of 18.
The premise is interesting given the history of interracial marriage and the fact that up until the late 1960's that was illegal.
It is also an interesting book on different kinds of racism, as well as prejudice.
This isn't something I would've read as a teen, but it is an interesting story idea. The cover seems to fit the genre quite well.
