I wish there was a book like this back when I was in middle school

I am so excited that there is finally a book like this out there for people to read! This is a diverse novel that ties together history with what it feels like to be a young adult dealing with various life changes. The characters seem very easy to relate to and it offers a beautiful glimpse into one family's way of life!
