This historical fiction book centers around a girl named Ariel. Has has an older sister who likes a book who is Hindu. We are also able to see how the world was at this time in dealing with race. I feel for Ariel and Leah that I really want to finish up this one! The author has done a wonderful job of explaining Ariel's emotions as well.
