First of all!! The cover!! It caught my eye immediately—fun and bright, with someone writing. I’m intrigued, as on further research, I saw it was a historical fiction, which doesn’t really go with the bright, modern cover. I’m interested to see if this is a story-within-a-story or if this cover ends up making sense by reading the book. I also am very excited about the historical fiction aspect, as I have not read much about the Loving v. Virginia case (though I am familiar with the case).
