Before talking about the story itself, I'd like to say that I think that the prose is absolutely beautiful!!! The way the author weaves the story is so very pleasing to read.
Now for the plot. I think that it is an interesting way to write the story. It's from the point of view of a child experiencing the events around her which is certainly something I haven't read since like to kill a mokingbird.
