This book was terrible.

Elizabeth "Biz" Martin Grey keeps to herself. She has friends but she notices things other people don't notice like the new kid Jasper. She doesn't tell anyone about her bad thoughts, how she kissed her best friend Grace, or how her dead dad still comes by to visit her and tell her about the happy little kid she used to be. After two separate incidents at the beach, the tethers that hold Biz to reality and into this world start to unwind leaving her wondering if she should stay in our world or if she should just.. float away from it all.

This book had a lot of potentials to be amazing but a lot of the parts just fell flat for me. The author could have been more thorough and added more depth to events in the book but just left them barely skimming the surface of interesting.

Biz- I think Biz is such a drama queen. She takes stories and spirals them out of control when they are nothing. Also "Biz"? Biz is the nickname you choose for yourself?

Jasper- Jasper is the only reason I gave this book an extra star it didn't deserve.

"The Posse" in this group was so stupid. I just thought it was a plain dumb concept. I don't know if it's because I do not relate to it or something but it was just a stupid added thing that was worthless. **NOT TO MENTION THEY KICKED BIZ OUT OF THEIR GROUP AFTER SHE WAS SEXUALLY ASSAULTED? SUCH BULLSHIT!!**

I was really excited to read this book, but it was such a disappointment.

The characters were super flat. There was like this invisible barrier that kept me from relating to any of them, they were so monotone.
