As an empath, I found this book to be quite challenging to read. The main character Biz is a teenager...which is difficult enough to deal with. Her father died when she was young and he comes to see her often in a bubble. She has a photographic memory which makes her schoolwork easy but the rest of school is difficult except for her best friend Grace. Her life seems to unravel when she kisses Grace (and then Grace proceeds to figure out what sex preferences Biz would like) and later Grace becomes involved with a boy from school and spends a lot of her time with him.
Teen angst magnified. Biz's father apparently had mental illness and Biz has inherited it.
I found the book difficult to read. The topic was challenging and I well understand it would be a beneficial book for individuals going into the mental health field.
