I was not really sure what I was expecting when I jumped into this, but it ended up blowing me away. I was even more shocked when I noted that this is a debut novel for the author. It was so beautifully written which makes me so excited to see what we get next.
This does deal with so many different important topics and does have several triggers. Be mindful that this is a story that deals with mental health, depression, and suicidal ideations. It was very moving and intense at times. It is a very powerful read and a must for anyone who loves hard hitting contemporaries.
Overall, I really enjoyed this and cannot wait for more from the this author.
