I don't usually read YA novels or books about mental health, but I appreciated the opportunity to read the First Impression of How It Feels to Float. In some passages, Biz appears to be a typical teenager while just a few minutes later, she seems to be more mature than her age. I especially liked the interactions with her father to share backstory of the characters. I'm not exactly sure where this story is going, but I'd like to go along on the journey.
