A deeply intelligent and emotionally complex girl-turning-woman, Biz is an easily relatable character and my heart went out to her from the beginning. Navigating the delicate social web of high school is hard enough, but especially for Biz, whose father died when she was seven, but makes frequent appearances in her daily inner dialogue. Or is it deeper? Does Biz struggle with delusions? I cannot wait to find out.
