I am very intrigued with this book so far. The writing is very lyrical and descriptive, making for a beautiful reading experience. Biz has a very unique voice that comes through in her wandering and often fragmented thoughts that makes me interested to read more about her story and find out what happens to her. I initially wanted to read the First Impression because of Kathleen Glasgow’s comment, because I recently read Girl In Pieces and rally enjoyed it. If this book is anything like that, I think that I will enjoy it very much. I look forward to being introduced to Helena Fox’s writing in her debut novel, and am interested to see how the tough topics of grief and mental illness are tackled and represented. I really like the simplistic art of the cover, and want to read the book to find out what it represents.
