Beautiful, ethereal, life loosely held together

Biz is is such a beautiful and ethereal character. She has moments of being a typical teenager dealing with friend issues, younger sibling issues, teacher issues and surviving high school, and then we swirl to meet her father, who is so supportive in moments, but should not be there at all. She finds the new boy who fascinates her, but he seems out of reach--so much like her father. We see moments of losing sense of reality and know that Biz is not quite in control. Jasper rescues her when she loses herself in the magical rhythm and realm of the ocean.What happens now? Will Biz find her way back to a safe sense of self?
