My heart breaks for Biz. Growing up certainly has its challenges and can be very painful. Most of us have been there. Things happen and we have no one to talk to so we keep it all to ourselves. Losing a parent is a terrible thing to go through as a young person. I think we can all agree that being young can be quite the struggle. If I had a teenage daughter I would give her this book and tell her she can always come to me for anything. I have the feeling after reading this novel the girl won't leave you anytime soon.
