Such a Cute Read With Lots of Heartbreaking Moments Throughout

This is such an interesting take on a coming out story. I love the way it was written. We follow the main character, Amir, throughout his adventures and I couldn't get enough of it. It was sad at moments, but overall hilarious and quite tremendous what he went through as a senior in high school. I could never fathom going any where outside of the country especially alone, but Amir did it and he was quite successful during his travels. I wish everyone could have an experience like he did, if that is what they are looking for. I think the idea that he is being interrogated is quite sad and what he is put through can be a huge burden, but overall he seemed to have a grand time traveling. Amir did more while he was 18 than most people do by the time they are in their late twenties. His experiences will make you love him and sympathize with him even though he doesn't give his family a chance.
