At first I was very curious to see how this would play out. When he started to explain what was going on I became more upset at the political system to make people immediately suspect what was happening. I am able to relate to part of his story, so I understand where he is coming from. I loved reading this so far because it was easy to follow and I don't usually like books like these. In reality I am putting my self in the shoes of everyone in the story from the police officers to Jackson. It isn't right how he was treated in the story but that is just life for some people. We don't get to read POVs like this very often, that tell a bunch of different sides to the story. You get to feel raw emotions that the characters are going through-which I love- and you are able to better understand where each person is coming from in terms of what they think is right.
