The plot to this story is current - it's important - it needs to be shared. The writing is easy to understand, but grips at your emotions. I really like that the main character isn't too much younger than myself. I really like the introductions included of each interrogation room - for each character, I want to read more - I want to know more.
Part of this intro shares the sentence of "Let me explain" - Each family member is part of a minority. But at the same time, each family member has their own individuality, too. I like that it's broken down by each member - how being separated right from the beginning of the story affects each of them. I would imagine that the rest of this book contains a lot about each characters' emotions. That emotion is what leaving me wanting to read more and more. This seems like a read I would have a hard time putting down!
