This is not the type of book I usually pick up, but this is one I would definitely read. The character of Amir seems very real, and you can feel the conflict he’s going through. I also really liked how sympathetic and concerned that his sister was. I would love to read more about his parents...as a mother of teens, I realize that we parents are seldom as simple as our kids seem to think we are.
