I grew up in a country where it is the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia. I am fascinated by this topic. I imagined being gay is already hard to find acceptance from family and friends, but being a Muslim gay is harder. I want to know how Amir deals with this situation in the end. From the first few chapters, I could feel the humor that Amir Azadi tried to integrate into this uncomfortable topic.
