I read a lot of YA books and what grabs me the most at the beginning is VOICE. I can really "hear" Amir as if he is a real teenager telling his story. I like that the book is mostly from his POV but also brings in his family's perspective as well. I am interested to read the whole book and to purchase it for my school libraries.
