I've wanted to check out Ahmadi's writing for a while, and this newest book has sparked my interest more than any others. I love that the book unapologetically starts with the statement, "I'm gay." There's no question about where this story will go. I also love the narrative voice. This story is sure to have a lot of heart; it reminds me of The Love and Lies of Rukhsana Ali, and I think it will reach a similar audience. I can't wait to read more.
