I've been wanting to read more diversely that goes beyond just race, but religion as well. Seeing as this one revolves around not just a Muslim main character but a Muslim family, and it's LGBT? It's exactly something that I have been looking forward to reading more of. I love that it starts in the interrogation room before going back in time to the beginning. I have a feeling this is going to be really impactful, mostly emotionally, and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
