This story is both sweet and sad. Sweet because its a kid coming to discover himself and the narrators voice sounds like someone I would want to know in real life. And it is sad only in that it is sad people still have a reason to fear being themselves. I love the writing style and the shifting perspective. And I'm hoping with all my heart for a good outcome for Amir!
