My first impression of the book is that it is very good. I loved the character and it has authenticity. When you are that young, it is possible to make a decision like that because you think you are the world. I liked the multiple person aspect of the book and seeing the point of view of the other family members. I will say that I thought the little girl seemed a little too mature, but some kids are like that. It was very funny and very engaging. I really do want to find out what happens to our hero. Very good so far and from what I read, I would recommend the book to read.I was planning on reading a couple of pages but I got caught-up and it was compelling. Makes me want to read more from this author!
