Starting off I knew that I was going to enjoy this book. Right away I really liked the method of storytelling, with Amir telling his story through the interrogation paralleled with his families version as well. Amir also seems like a very likable character who you can immediately feel for as he struggles to figure out the situation he was forced into. I’m also really excited to read more and join Amir in Italy!
