Great book with a lot of great stories. Guy Raz interviewed many of the top entrepreneurs of our time and really helps explain many different views and ways that anyone can follow their passion and hopefully make a successful business doing so.
Based off of his NPR podcast of the same name, Raz uses these stories to put a human face on profitable businesses. In a society where Amazon is quick and easy, this book digs in a little deeper and shows the stories behind how lesser know companies have persevered and thrived but more than that its an inspirational book on helping struggling entrepreneurs navigate their way to becoming profitable.
I enjoyed the stories. I enjoyed the background. I think this book is something we all need right now. Uplifting and inspirational. Many of the stories included people helping other people, which we definitely need more of. It did get a little redundant at times, slightly slumped at points but all in all a great book.
