Guy Raz has made a name for himself in the podcasting world through his wildly successful NPR series "How I Built This," in which he interviews various founders, innovators, and entrepreneurs on their thought and work processes. As someone who spends a lot of time commuting to work/school, and therefore a lot of time listening to podcasts, I first stumbled across Raz's show through his 2017 interview with the late Kate Spade. Raz has a talent for connecting with his guests and the interesting narratives around their successes. Since I had already listened to many of the podcast interviews, I was a bit concerned that the book would simply be a repeat of those interviews. However, it seems like Raz (and Nils Parker) has put together a manual on how to be an entrepreneur, starting with ideation. The writing feels very approachable and engaging.
