The conversational tone of the book and comparisons to Campbell's Hero's Journey to that of the entrepreneurial path drew me in right away. As a woman of color, leading with Carol's Daughter as one of the opening anecdotes further roped me in. We are so often left out of the conversation around what it takes to build a successful business. I'm interested to see where this is going.
