Guy Raz Captivates in the Written Word Just as He Does in the Spoken Word

Before I listened to the NPR podcast, How I Built This, I had a lot of the same reservations Raz describes in the introduction of his book of the same name. It surprised me how interested I became listening to a podcast about business, a subject I was never fond of. But it's the business-owners stories of the journey they made to get to where they are today that really drives the narrative. Raz is a gifted interviewer who is also a gifted writer, as the beginning of his new book proves. I was immediately captivated by his telling of Stacy Brown's story, and it made me eager to read more "hero journey" stories in the rest of the book.
