Oh my God what a good book. I loved how it started off with making you unsure if the grandmother. The way there was a twist at the end of the brothers was not anything I expected. It reminded me of a dark Harry Potter and I thoroughly enjoyed the book. The setting that the book had was easy to imagine and I really like the in depth details of the different houses in the end. I kept going back and forth if I liked Jordan or not l. I feel like there may be a second book coming as it left with yargin and Jordan together. I liked the contrasting teachers and how their classes were very different kinds of magic. It was descriptive with everything so even if you were unsure of that the book was talking about at first you were able to find out a more independent description soon after being introduced. I honestly really enjoyed this book and am excited to see if there is a second one to come in the future.
